This site is owned by Adur and Worthing Borough Council. A planning application was approved during lockdown despite significant opposition including from the Worthing Society (the proposed development was much too dense).
We are pleased to report that the council has now appointment a new Architect to come up with a set of revised plans. Allied and Morrisons are the appointed Architects. They have submitted a planning consultation with a completely redesigned scheme. This is definitely an improvement and takes on board some of the previous objections – we now await the formal planning application.
